The Oyo State High Court

The objectives of the Oyo State High Court are:

  1. To adjudicate on both Civil and Criminal cases and thereby administer Justice without delay;
  2. To punish offenders;
  3. Granting probate or letters of Administration in respect of the estates of deceased;
  4. Custody of Wills;
  5. Editing and reporting of Judgement of High Court for the benefit of the Legal professions;
  6. Stock, equipping and maintaining of Law Libraries for effective administration of Justice;
  7. To settle records of appeal and forwarding same to the Court of Appeal for speedy hearing of the appeals;
  8. To see to speedy execution of Judgement;
  9. To appeal copies of Judgement, Order, Rulings and other Judicial document to litigants promptly on payment of requisite fees.
